Petite Arvine Valle d’Aosta D.O.P.

Vine variety/vinification: white, 100% Petite Arvine. Traditional, dop in vine variety. Vinified in steel.

Tasting notes: bright straw yellow. Its nose is floral, with fragrant notes of jasmine, peony, apple, plum and citrus fruits; rounded and fresh streaks. A balanced taste, with undertones of the ocean and a vivid minerality.

Serving temperature: 8/10 °C.

Food accompaniments: fish based dishes, seafood, shellfish, white meats and carpaccio, salami, cheese.

Trivia: the grape variety is so named for its small berries. A native of the town of Chamoson in the Swiss Valais, it was introduced to Valle d’Aosta in the 1970s by the Institut Agricole of Valle d’Aosta.
