Torrette Superiore Valle d’Aosta D.O.P.

Vine variety/vinification: red, 70% Petit Rouge, 30% Cornalin, Fumin and Mayolet. Local. DOP zone. Vinified in steel.

Tasting notes: ruby with purple rim. Floral and fruity nose (dried rose, violet, Morello cherry). It exhibits freshness with notes of fresh must.

Food accompaniments: suitable to the typical mountain cuisine, soups, meats, fresh cheeses and cold cuts.

Serving temperature: 16/18 °C.

Trivia: Torrette is the largest production range in Valle d’Aosta. The Petit Rouge grape variety has been present in this area from time immemorial.
