Syrah Valle d’Aosta D.O.P.

Vine variety/vinification: red, 100% Syrah. International dop in vine variety. Vinification in steel and aged for 9 months in French oak.

Tasting notes: ruby with garnet hues. Thin layer of toasted spices to the nose with berry undertones. Soft and balanced on the palate, with good flavour and freshness.

Serving temperature: 17/18 °C.

Food accompaniments: first courses, fondue, red meat, game, cheese.

Trivia: this wine comes from vocational vineyards “Coteau la Tour”, dominated by a medieval watchtower, overlooking the Savoy Castle of Sarre. The site served as the refuge of the King “hunter” Vittorio Emanuele II. Today, it is the tasting station of the company.
